Multiple Tiffs to single PDF using Openoffice.org

Recently I had multiple tiff files, that I wanted to send to somebody. I thought it could be better to send them as a single pdf. A quick google search revealed that there are some shareware converters from tiff to pdf, some suggested to use pdfprinter with some image viewing software,
abandoning those, here is how I quickly converted it without any hassles using Openoffice.org Draw:

1. Started a new document in OpenOffice.org Draw.
2. On the lefthand side in the pages pane, created 7 blank pages (I had seven images)
3. Using File->open opened the first tiff image
4. Copied it and went back to the newly created document
5. Selected the appropriate page for that image and pasted it
6. Closed the tiff image
7. Repeated step 3 -6 for rest of the images.
8. Used the "Export directly as PDF" button from the toolbar
9. Its Done!!!, Now either discard or save your document
   

I am sure that this method can be used with any other commonly used images formats (even mixed types). Hope this helps somebody.
